News Flash: Original K&K Daytona Coming to Moparty! It’s official, the original 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona that dominated the 1970 NASCAR season is coming to Holley’s MoParty. It is quite possibly one of the most authentic race cars from the era. The car is part of the amazing collection at the Wellborn Museum and in recognition of the 50th anniversary of the championship they are bringing the car to MoParty! The car was piloted by Bobby Isaac that year and was powered by a Holley carb! It ran an amazing 201.1 MPH around Talledega to set a closed-course speed record and then went on to the Bonneville Salt Flats and set the record for a stock-bodied car with a flying start at 216.945 MPH!
